For the third time in a row, Fat Joe will be hosting the Bet Hip Hop Award as it promises to be a glamorous evening for the artist and audiences alike. The award recognizes artists who have really dished out good music all throughout the previous year, as well as music producers, video directors, and DJs. 

As expected, the nominee lists are all star-studded with the biggest stars from various continents gracing the list of various award categories, and Africa isn’t left out. Maglera Doe Boy, Blxckie, Burna Boy & Odumodublvck will be representing Africa at this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards and it’s safe to say that our artists are making us proud and putting Africa on one of the biggest global stages.

Burna Boy

The *African Giant* as he is also called, has bagged a nomination in the “Best Live Performer” category. This doesn’t come as a surprise, as Burna Boy is known to deliver one of the best performances on stage. His energy, how he pulls the crowd, and his dance moves get everyone hyped up to watch him even more. Vying with him in this category are Busta Rhymes, Cardi B, Drake, GloRila, Kendrick Lamar, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliot, and Travis Scott.

Blxckie

Another artist gracing the nomination list is South African superstar Blxckie. One of the biggest and hottest musical exports from South Africa, Blxckie has been nominated in the “Best International Flow.” With so much put into putting out tracks with fire bars, it’s great to see that his musical works are not just seen by Africa but the world.

Odumodublvck

Also nominated for the “Best International Flow” is Big Kala himself, Odumodublvck. The Nigerian artist has no doubt been going viral and doesn’t look like he has plans to slow down even a bit. With so many hits to his name, international collaborations, crazy bars, catchy flows, and slangs, little wonder why Odumodublvck became a household name so quickly.

Maglera Doe Boy

South African Rapper and Songwriter, Maglera Doe Boy is another big name to be on the nominated list for “Best International Flow.” A fast-rising artist making huge waves from the south side of Africa, Maglera Doe Boy has captured the attention of music lovers with his commendable lyrical and songwriting prowess.
