On September 3, 2025, Nigerian Afrobeats star Tems delivered a captivating performance at Coldplay’s sold-out Wembley Stadium concert in London, as part of their ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’. Performing her global hit “Free Mind” to over 90,000 fans, Tems’ soulful vocals and genre-bending artistry created a powerful cultural moment, showcasing the growing influence of Afrobeats on the global stage. Her set was a highlight of the night, resonating deeply with the audience and cementing her status as one of Africa’s most prominent voices.

Tems is supporting Coldplay for the final four dates of their record-breaking 10-night run at Wembley, including September 3, 4, 6, and 12, alongside Palestinian-Chilean pop star Elyanna and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. Her inclusion in the lineup represents a significant fusion of Afrobeats with global pop and rock, drawing praise for its cultural significance. The performance was nothing short of a historic crossover, with Tems bringing African music to one of the world’s most iconic venues.

This collaboration follows Tems’ earlier appearance with Coldplay, Doja Cat, and J Balvin at the FIFA Club World Cup Final halftime show in July 2025, further highlighting her rising global profile. Known for collaborations with artists like Wizkid, Drake, and Beyoncé, as well as her Grammy-winning contributions, Tems continues to break barriers, with her Wembley performances expected to leave a lasting impact on audiences across Europe.
