Burna Boy is officially heading back to London Stadium.
On August 3, 2026, the Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar announced that he will headline the iconic venue once again in 2027, posting on social media: “So excited for 2027! London Stadium III and Much More announcements for y’all.” The announcement was accompanied by Instagram activity showing a custom chain filmed at the stadium, hinting that this is just the beginning of a wider 2027 rollout.
The announcement means Burna Boy will become the first African artist to headline London Stadium three times, further extending a legacy that has consistently redefined the global ceiling for African live music.
A Stadium That Has Become Burna Boy’s Home
For Burna Boy the London Stadium has become a symbol of his global dominance more than another stop on his touring schedule. In June 2023, Burna Boy made history as the first African artist to headline a UK stadium, selling out London Stadium with his ‘Love, Damini’ spectacle. The production featured a striking golden merry-go-round stage and surprise appearances from Stormzy, Dave, J Hus and Popcaan, while thousands of fans sang Yoruba and Pidgin lyrics back to him in one of the defining moments in Afrobeats’ international rise.
