For an artist whose international run has steadily translated from streaming dominance to sold-out arenas, Coachella represents both a symbolic and strategic checkpoint, continuously serving as a cultural placement within a festival that has historically dictated global pop visibility. Davido’s inclusion also continues a broader shift in how African music is absorbed into global circuits.
