Ayra Starr Announces ‘Starrgirl’ World Tour, Set to Take New Album Across Europe and North America
Ayra Starr is taking her ‘Starrgirl’ era on the road, announcing a 20-city world tour that will see the Nigerian-Beninese singer perform across Europe, the United Kingdom and North America between January and April 2027. The announcement follows a defining run for the singer, whose third studio album, ‘Starrgirl’, released on August 14, has further strengthened her international profile.
The “Starrgirl World Tour” will kick off on January 20 at Live Music Hall in Cologne, Germany, before moving through Amsterdam, Paris, Milan, Zurich and Brussels. The European leg will wrap up in London on February 2, with the North American run commencing in Houston on March 18. Other stops include Dallas, Atlanta, New York, Toronto, Montreal and Chicago, before the tour concludes at The Fillmore in San Francisco on April 14.
The announcement arrives at a particularly significant moment in Ayra Starr’s career. On October 11, she became the first Afrobeats artist to headline the halftime show at an NFL International Game, performing at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London during the Philadelphia Eagles’ meeting with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The performance offered another major international platform for the singer, whose growing catalogue and collaborations have steadily expanded her audience beyond Africa.

Her latest album, ‘Starrgirl’, provides the central narrative for the upcoming tour. Released through Mavin Records and Republic Records, the project debuted at No. 2 on Spotify’s Global Top Albums chart, recording 3.9 million global streams on its first full day, according to figures cited in the tour announcement. It also reached No. 1 on Apple Music’s album charts in 15 countries, giving the project considerable momentum ahead of its live showcase.
Ayra has continued to build on that reception through the album’s visual campaign. On October 5, she released the music video for “Heaven Baby”, her collaboration with ZAYN, extending the project’s international appeal. Alongside records such as “Rush”, “Commas”, and “Sability”, the new material gives her an expanding catalogue to draw from as she prepares to bring the ‘Starrgirl’ experience to audiences across multiple markets.
Beyond the album, the tour represents another opportunity for Ayra Starr to consolidate her position as one of the most visible Nigerian artists operating within the global pop landscape. Her career has increasingly moved between Afrobeats, international collaborations and major overseas performances, with each new chapter testing how far her music can travel while retaining its connection to the sound and identity that first brought her recognition.
The tour announcement also points towards a return to Africa before the international dates begin. While the organisers have indicated that further details will follow, specific African venues and dates had not been confirmed in the published itinerary as of October 13. The prospect of December appearances would give local audiences an opportunity to experience the new album before the singer embarks on the wider international run.
Tickets for the European and UK dates are scheduled to go on general sale on October 16, following presales beginning October 14. North American presales are scheduled to begin on October 13, with general ticket sales opening on October 16.
For Ayra Starr, the “Starrgirl World Tour” is the next major step in a campaign built around a new album, growing international visibility and an increasingly expansive live profile. Beginning in Cologne next January and concluding in San Francisco in April, the run will put the singer’s latest material alongside the hits that have helped establish her as one of Afrobeats’ most recognisable contemporary voices.
