Davido to Bring His ‘5ive Tour’ to Kigali in December
Afrobeats megastar Davido is set to light up Kigali, Rwanda, as part of his global 5ive Tour, thrilling fans eager to experience one of Africa’s most dynamic performers live.
The concert is scheduled for Thursday, December 5, 2025, at the BK Arena — East Africa’s largest indoor venue with a 10,000-person capacity. The news, announced on November 3, has already stirred excitement across Rwandan social media circles.
Davido’s 5ive Tour celebrates his fifth studio album, 5IVE, released in April 2025 to critical acclaim. The project showcases his signature Afrobeats sound blended with elements of R&B, Reggaeton, and Dancehall, underscoring his global range and musical evolution.
This isn’t Davido’s first time in Kigali. He’s performed in the city on several occasions, including at the Giants of Africa event and the Trace Awards and Festival in 2023 — moments that cemented his bond with Rwandan fans.
According to organizers Intore Entertainment, with sponsorship from SKOL Malt, hosting the 5ive Tour represents a major win for Rwanda’s live music scene. With only a handful of African stops confirmed, the Kigali show is expected to be one of East Africa’s biggest entertainment highlights of 2025.
