Full List of Winners at the 9th All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) 2025
The 9th All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) went down last night, January 11, 2026, at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotels & Suites, Lagos. It wrapped up a five-day event that included a music business summit, host city tours, and a music village concert. Hosted by Falz and Liliane Maroune, the show had performances from Shallipopi, Phyno, Qing Madi, Adewale Ayuba, Patoranking, Gaise Baba, Kunmie, Seyi Vibez, and a Stonebwoy x Mr P reunion on “ODO“. Lifetime Achievement Awards went to Kenny Ogungbe and Dayo “D1” Adeneye.
Nigerian acts took home most of the big prizes. Rema led with three wins (including Artiste of the Year). Burna Boy got Album of the Year. Shallipopi grabbed Song of the Year and Best Collaboration for “Laho” (which features Burna Boy). Other Nigerian winners: Yemi Alade (soundtrack), Phyno (hip-hop), Chella (fans’ favourite), and Qing Madi (most promising).
