Olamide is Taking His Street-hop Anthems to London’s O2 Arena
Olamide will headline The O2 Arena on 25 March 2027, becoming the sixth Nigerian artist to headline the 20,000-capacity venue, according to reports. The concert will mark his biggest London headline show to date.
Organised by Hera Touring in association with YBNL Entertainment, the show follows Olamide’s sold-out concert at London’s OVO Arena Wembley in November 2025.
Olamide Joins Nigerian Stars Who Have Headlined The O2 Arena
The O2 Arena has hosted some of the biggest names in Nigerian music, including Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Asake and Rema. Wizkid became the first Nigerian artist to sell out the main arena in 2018, paving the way for more Nigerian acts to bring their music to the venue.
Olamide’s upcoming show carries its own significance. Since emerging in the early 2010s, the rapper has helped bring Yoruba-language rap and street-hop into mainstream Nigerian music, building a catalogue of hits that has influenced the country’s sound across generations.
Olamide’s YBNL Nation Legacy and Influence on Afrobeats
Olamide founded YBNL Nation in 2012 and has helped develop artists including Fireboy DML and Asake, both of whom have built international audiences. Asake, in particular, has headlined The O2 multiple times, adding another dimension to the label’s connection with the venue.
The March concert will see Olamide take centre stage in his own right, bringing a career built on Nigerian street culture to an arena that has become a significant destination for Afrobeats stars.
